When you’ve been through a tornado together you’ll know.

When you die and you've been together for the rest of your life
Quite seriously though it is a matter of time, and your relationship can be amazing normally but just not able to weather a storm.

I don't believe in soulmates. Love is not real. Sex with beautiful or pretty women is real. Period.

You can just feel it, it's hard to explain. You just know when there's no one you connect on the same levels with and love like you do. But you can tell more if that's the case if you've gotten through tough situations together - test of strength and all that. Tough situations can be very different for everyone

A mix of their instinctive understanding of your emotions/experiences, how firm their commitment is, how deep the mutual connection is and gut instinct.
My parents are soulmates.
