Autumn resit A Level 2020

It says that if you achieve better grades in the autumn series than what you were predicted in summer you can request a replacement certificate for the summer series which only displays the higher grade.
How does this show on UCAS if you make an application? Do you have to show your previous grades to the universities you want to apply to?
For medicine, they only accept retakes if you achieved certain grades before, however since we weren’t taking exams in the first place, does it really count as a ‘resit’, since it is only available to the students who felt their summer scores weren’t reflective of their actual ability.
Do the real exams you take in autumn count as real grades?

For UCAS you must declare both the Summer and Autumn 2020 grades. Both sets of grades are "real grades".

Universities (including med schools) know that only the highest grade will be put on a certificate and that the exams sat in the Autumn were the "first attempt" at an actual exam.
