uni grade - HELP!!!

my uni degree is weighed 40% for stage 2 and 60% for stage 3.

I scored 67% in stage 2.
what do I need to average to get a first (70%+) in stage 3?
please please please help, I am so bad with numbers.

67 x 0.4 will give you 26.8% overall percentage 100 x 0.6 gives you a maximum of 60% achievable

You need 70% for a first

70 - 26.8 gives you 43.2

so you need 43.2% out of 60% which is 72%

So basically in stage 3 you need 72% on average to get a first

Think that maths is right :h: seems logical, probably a quicker way to do it

Well you got 67% in the last one and 5% is probably no more than 5 more marks per assessment (which isn't that much really), so yes it is completely doable I believe in you! Of course it won't be easy as generally as uni goes along it gets harder but you are at the moment a borderline first student so you have the potential just need to now put in the work.

And a 2:1 is still excellent don't get too stressed about it
