Okay, maybe not a relationship, haha. I've been talking to this guy for 2 months online and it's been super fun. It's been a great way to revise because he's also in his last year and we've just been enjoying our time together. The thing is, we both like each other and we've both told each other. However, a week or two ago, I said that, you know, we shouldn't 'date' because LDR are hard and we're both going to university later this year. I'm also really enjoying spending time with him and I don't want that to be ruined, if we got into a LDR and it didn't work out.
I don't know - I guess I'm asking if people think I did the right thing because I do go back and forth on my decision to not enter something 'more'. If you've been in/are in a LDR, I'd also love to know your experiences. Thank you.

Hey, so in my opinion long distance relationships are hard, and when I mean hard I mean difficult. In the past I've been in one long distance relationship that last just over 9 months. The honey moon stage for us lasted about 4 months and during that we would call everyday, revise and just have last night talks , I couldn't get enough of her.
We got into a big argument during around the 6 month mark because she was coming to England for a week and she wanted to meet up but I couldn't as my mum was in hospital and she said she was only there for one week. The reason I am saying this is because It came to the point where we realised we couldn't spend the next few years with each other on call and facetime and had bigger priorities like exams and hobbies.
In your point of view, uni is the next step in your life where you need to commit a lot of time to it as you'll be study and going out partying(if that is a you thing) where you will only have probably a couple hours a week to call, unless you both want that, nothing is stopping you guys and you'll be like a rock for that and I know I've only been in one of those relationships but many of my other mates have been in LDR and they haven't worked out a lot. Be my guest do what you want but I hope this has helped you in anyway.
