I was led to believe that full on lesbians don't like the idea of penetration and prefer all that footsucking and caressing business. Their most erogenous zone is on the outside, after all.
As mentioned, probably mostly hetero males, most of which were probably whacking one out even while they filled in the poll

Not to the readership of FHM, obviously! Last poll said that about 80% fantasised about it (I think..)

Not all elements are totally abandoned. I haven't read that many books about psychology but one that I had to read for a humanities project and that was written two years ago, used toilet training and anal fixation to explain a lot of things, most not at all sexual though. This is where the expression being "anal" comes from. So it's not all sexual.

he generally related fixation in anal stage to personality type in adult life; ie, children who derived pleasure from keeping their faeces in [most likely because they enjoyed control over their parents] are more likely to be quite finnicky adults,.
hence the term anally retentive
