John Locke essay competition - how to approach?

Hi guys,
I was looking at the John Locke Institute essay competition questions for this year, and I'd love to apply; the problem is, how does one approach a philosophy question like "Are there some subjects about which we should not even ask questions?" Where should I begin and where should I look for research?

i don't know tbh. the only philosophy essays ive written are based on the content i've learned but you've not got that basis

surely any philosophy question like this entails a primary text, you've mentioned it the locke competition so presumably there's a locke text relating directly to this and that's where you ought to start. then move on by reading commentaries/responses to the text
