MATHS - gcse help

I dont get this question. But this is how far I got up to 16148064241052926191912984289195.jpg
A ladder is placed so that it makes an angle of 76° with the ground. When the foot of the ladder is 1.7m from the foot of the wall, how high up the wall does the ladder reach?

the adjacent length is 1.7m, and the angle is 76 degrees- use sohcahtoa to find that tan 76 = opposite/1.7
1.7*tan(76)=height of wall
hope that helps
