can anyone mark my 12 mark history question

can someone please mark my 12 mark history question
One reason why the Pilgrimage of Grace took place is because of economic reasons. There were many economic reasons for the pilgrimages of grace for example the commoners had complaints about rising rents and enclosures of common land. This would have angered the commoners a lot as they could hardly afford to pay rent as it was and the rise in rent would cause many commoners to become homeless as they simply do not have the money to pay for their homes. The bad harvest in 1535 had made things much harder for most people in England as this had driven food prices up causing people to not be able to afford the food. The poorer people would usually be ok because they could go to the monasteries and be provided with food but because of the dissolution of the monasteries this could not happen. This would have angered the people a lot because they would be going hungry as there was simply no way for them to get food. This caused the revolt because many factors had angered people and they wanted to rebel against it and for the king to revert back his changes.

Another reason why the Pilgrimage of Grace took place was because of political reasons. The northerners were displeased with how Henry had divorced and cast off his first wife, Catherine of Aragon, who was very popular in the north. This would have caused people to be angry because they were quite angry about how Henry had just gotten rid of his first wife so they would want to go against Henry because they did not like what he was doing. Henry's next wife, Anne Boleyn was a protestant and in the northerners eyes she was an illegitimate queen and was very unpopular. This would have greatly angered the people as they did not see Anne Boleyn as queen because in those times you couldn't just get a divorce. The people hated the way that Henry broke from Rome and got a divorce for himself and it angered them greatly.

A third reason why the Pilgrimage of Grace took place was because of religious reasons. The people were very angry about the dissolution of the monasteries because the monasteries were essential to community life and they provided many services for the poor and needy as well as basic education. The poorer people would have been very angry as the poor were not able to go to the monasteries and get a basic education or they could not be helped when they were sick. Many loyal catholics were very angry with the new 10 articles as they moved away from the classic traditional way of worship. This would have caused them to want to go against the king because it challenged their own beliefs.

In conclusion I think that the economic factors were the most important factors because the rise in prices of things such as rent and food would have angered people a lot because they would struggle to afford things now and in a desperate attempt to get the king to revert his changes they decided to start a revolt against the king.
hi, this is a really good answer. maybe try adding more points in the conclusion explaining the other choices and how they were not the most important factor.
