Me and my mum always watch rom coms together. When we watched movies they are usually straight characters. And when i watch movies myself i watch myself i tend to watch lgbtq films. why do i feel awkward watching them with my mum. or when i open amazon or netflix and all my recommendations are to do with lgbtq i feel a little anxious and hope she doesn't notice.

if you're gay or bi, and you still haven't opened up to her, that explains it

Perks of being a wallflower. the main character isnt gay but there's a gay character in it and it's an important part of the story. in my opinion, it's an amazing movie

The BFI are running their annual LGBT festival Flare from 17-28 March- if you are interested have a look via their website. The short films are free to watch I understand.
