Yes. You can log in and cancel your loan application. On top of that SFE don’t pay anything until your university tells them you have enrolled and started the course.

It’s easy to cancel if you change your mind in August. If you don’t apply on time and then decide to go to university in August then you might not get any loan paid in the first weeks or months of your course.

It’s better to apply for a loan on time if there’s any chance you might go to university in the autumn.
