When can you apply for postgraduate funding, say for a Masters in Business? I live in the UK. I can't seem to find out from Student Finance?

I live in the UK, I'm just finishing a 4 year undergrad. at St Andrew's, and I want to do a 1 year Taught Masters there too - but I live in the UK with my parents normally. Can I get a student loan for the Taught MA at St Andrew's? I can't find the info for 2021/22 anywhere!

The funding available depends on which home nation you live in (not where you're studying). Are you ordinarily resident in England, Wales, Scotland or NI?

Postgraduate funding for 2021/22 isn't likely to be open for application until June (depending on which home nation you live in).

So when would I hear about whether I actually get accepted on to the postgrad course? And would I have to sign to join the MA course before I've heard about funding? Anyone know?

You need to ask the university you want to apply to these questions.

Applying to a course doesn’t commit you to paying the fees - and postgraduate funding often doesn’t cover the fees and living costs but is a set small amount for you to add to your budget.
