What’s the best fashion design uni?

I’m studying at LCF Menswear but I’ve always wanted to study at Westminster. I have an offer from Westminster too.

Do I stay in LCF or move to Westminster? Please give me some nice detailed advice!

Hi there,

Firstly, a big congratulations on your offer!

In order for me to provide some information and advice regarding our Fashion degree, can you kindly tell me which course you have applied for with us and at what degree level?

Many thanks,

James

Hi,

This is a very competitive and popular course and the University of Westminster prides itself on delivering an exceptional Fashion Design experience for students where we specialise in enabling you to become a highly original and individual creative designer, capable of working at the highest levels of the international fashion industry. The course is based at our Harrow campus in North West London which has outstanding design facilities. You’ll have a dedicated studio equipped with industrial sewing machines, pattern-cutting tables and mannequins.

You will also be provided with unique opportunities such as working at the London Fashion Week. We were the first undergraduate course in the world to show a selection of our students on the official London Fashion Week schedule. In addition, we can help connect you with industries to support your career and future aspirations. Our previous Fashion Design BA graduates have gained employment at companies including Versace, Rick Owens, Celine, Loewe, Alexander McQueen, Maison Margiela, Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Carven, Tom Ford, Gucci, Versace, Ferragamo, Kenzo, H&M, Preen, MaxMara, Anya Hindmarch, Burberry, J.W. Anderson, Norse Projects, Acne, Jacquemus, Paul Smith and adidas.
As well as working in senior positions all over the world in many fashion roles and include such well-known brands or alternatively, have also gone on to study at PhD level and to further academic research. Others have set up their own business or successfully taken over a family run business.
Therefore, your career path can take many routes.

Best Wishes,

James
