Hi guys!

I am a postgraduate student and I have had to suspend due to health reasons.

I was advised by student finance I would be eligible for my final instalment if I had suspended due to health reasons and within the 60 days of payment date.

I suspended uni on the 24/02/21 and my next payment was due on the 19/04/21

I have checked my SFE account and my payments are showing blocked.

I received an email form SFE see below:
Contact your university and ask them to update their records and set your
suspension date 60 days after the original date. Once they do this, we’ll
get confirmation from them and then we’ll update your details.

Please can someone advice me regarding this as my suspension date was 60 days within the payment date!!

Any help would be appreciated!

Your university needs to apply/state you’re eligible for the additional 60 days funding. Speak to your student records or registry team about what got sent to SFE about your withdrawal.

SFE can’t fix this - it’s something your university has to amend.
