If you were doing a study giving participants a questionnaire about gender and university course choice, what would be the IV and DV?

Hhmm, I remember that the IV is something that the experimenter can manipulate and the DV is the outcome, so they can control which gender they ask and which proportions and that will effect the outcome, may well be wrong though, it's been a few years since I did psychology.

I'm doing psychology now as a GCSE as I'm in year 11 so I may be wrong and you may be correct.
