Temporary to permanent work

Hi I've recently just got a job for HSBC as a customer service representative through Reed agency. Does anyone know if it can lead to a permanent contract or is it strictly temp? Baring in mind it said 6 months with possibility of extension.
It can be a permanent job if they think you’re right for it at the end of the 6 months or if they continue to need more staff at the time
But you can also walk away from it at any point

Oh okay no worries I was just thinking because they've said ill be training for 5 weeks then put into a academy for another 4 weeks and that just seems like alot of money for them to pay just to get rid of people and then employ some more but thanks anyway👍
