Compatability in a few key areas. Sexual, money, children, conflict resolution.

Tolerance of the other person. And ability to find work arounds to incompatabilites in non key areas.

Ability to keep things fresh as the relationship stretches beyond the honeymoon period.

Always keeping promises, compatibility, clear two way communication, sexual attraction, shared values and some mutual ambitions.
