Any applicants for Sutton trust summer school 2021?
What course did you apply for?
At what uni?
I’d like to get in touch with more people and then see if we’ve been selected in mid-April start of May

Hi, I applied for Psychology and Education in Cambridge. They did not have any criterias for the grades as UCL for example. Do you think choosing the summers school should be according to your preferred University for the UCAS application or the type of the course is more important? Any opinions on where you get more chances, shall I try another one as Cambridge sounds as one of the top options and it may decrease your chances? Thanks.

Hi, I was actually going to apply to Cambridge but I saw that they had different criteria on their website than on the Sutton Trust website. I only met one of the different criteria but three of the ones on the Sutton Trust website so I ended up applying to another university.

@nataliegrig And Bristol is the uni I want to go to, I think it’s better to apply to the uni you want to go because you may get a contextual offer from them but if it’s not your case it’s okay too because it shows your interest for the subject and that’s what unos want to see

Hi! Due to the competitive nature of oxbridge when applying for university, they wont put you at an advantage nor at a disadvantage in ucas applications if you get accepted into the summer school or not. This is to make it more fair if others didnt go to any summer school, the purpose of the cambridge summer school is to see if it is the university u want to study at and how university life is like there.

However, for other summer schools it may be different
Good luck in ur application!
