I firmly accepted an offer through UCAS. Should I still apply for France?

I already accepted an offer and even applied for accommodation but my professors are firmly encouraging me to apply for France since I go to a French HS. I'm confident I'll meet the conditions of the offer and I don't want to go to France either way.
Do I have an obligation to attend my firm choice if I get in? If so it'll be easier to fight off my professors haha.
Thanks!

You can withdraw from ucas at any point and from your university directly (in some cases even after enrolling depending on the date and their fee payment policy).
Ucas only restricts your options within the ucas scheme - other countries are completely independent. You’ll need another argument to pacify your teachers I’m afraid.
Or you could just apply to french universities so you have a backup just in case there’s an issue affecting the borders in the autumn.

If you don't actually want to go to a French Uni, then don't give in to pressure - it's you who is going to Uni, not your teacher.
