What degree should I study

I take medical science, psychology and business as A-levels. I definitely prefer psychology and medical science and want to do something like that. I’ve looked into many options such as nutrition, anthropology, environmental science, politics etc. If anyone has any suggestions what could be good or anything subjects that they have found interesting would be great. Also the unis I’ve looked at are Liverpool John Moores, Manchester met, Leeds Beckett, Northumbria and York St. John.

I'd probably start to think about the career you want rather than the subject, do you really want to be a politician after uni? Pick a degree that will tailor you to the job you think you'll go for
What do you want to be first and foremost?
Hi @jak235 :hello:

I recommend you think about what you would like to do as career in the future. Some careers will require you to have a specialist degree or a relevant subject, whereas some degrees have a wider range of career prospectus. You should study something you are defiantly interested in. We know it can be a big decision to decide what you want to study! You could take a look at different universities courses and view what units you would be studying to see if that it is something you enjoy.

I also recommend attending university open days, where you will be able to gain further insight into the university and the courses you are interested in, you may even be able to speak with course tutors!

We’re holding a series of Virtual Open Days from the 21-26 June 2021, you can book your place from early March. In the mean time, we have On Demand virtual Open Days where you can view subject presentations, subject areas, virtual campus tour, FAQs from our teaching staff and our student Life Fair. If you are interested you can access the On Demand Open Day here: https://www.mmu.ac.uk/study/open-days/undergraduate/demand-open-days

I hope this helps!
Good luck with your search
Carly
