Hi guys, here is my info:
GCSEs and grade breakdown : 99999888A*7A (9s in bio chem maths business and french, 8s in English lit, geography physics, 7 in English language, A* in further maths and A in statistics)
A level achieved: AAA (bio chem maths)
UCAT: 690 avg (2760)
SJT band : 3
Brief mention of work experience : Brighton and Sussex, observe gp, ongoing clinical experience as hca
I meet WP criteria: low household income, bursary student etc.

Is SGUL a reasonable choice, or will my band 3 put me at a disadvantage?

SGUL A100 is mainly for school leavers, so Yr 13s are fine. They cap grads at about 25%
They do not use SJT to shortlist, or at interview, you are correct

Got a score of 2780 B2. A level predicted is A*A*A. Gcses: Eng lang.7, 8: eng lit, physics,maths,drama 9: r.e., geography, economics, biology,chemistry, french
Am I likely to get an interview? I know last years cut off, but i wanted St George's almost as a back up option/ like a uni that'll almost guarantee and interview/place for me . Is this likely?
Thank you

is there any situation in which they will use sjt (such as tiebreaker) or will they just completely disregard it?

Hi!

Anyone know if I applied as a grad with 2.1, and UCAT 2630, for undergrad, would I have a chance at the interview?

Grad cut off was 2800 initially last year, but they did lower it to the same cut off as everyone else through Clearing (2620)

Should hopefully get an interview, cutoff was 2620 for school leavers this year (I believe but not certain that they need over 500 in each section but just check that they don’t ask for above the mean in VR like some other unis and keep an eye on the results as they come out).

Hi everyone
my stats are the following:
Achieved A levels: 3A*s in Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics.

UCAT: Total 2780 (VR:590, DM:700, QR:740, AR:750) SJT Band 3 (which is the main issue).

GCSEs: Double Science: 9-9
Mathematics: 8
English Language: 6
History:8
English Literature: 5
Arabic: 9
BTEC Sport (Level 2): Distinction
NCFE Food and Cookery (Level 2): Pass
is sjt used to assess an application at any point? (before or after interview)
and do you think I'm likely to receive an interview based on these stats ?
Thanks in advance for any replies

Hi, I'm not sure about your score, but if you're worried about the SJT band, SGUL doesn't look at it

Hey,
I'm surprised at how much the UCAT cut off increased last year. Would you say 2710 is quite risky?

Thanks!!
