what ucas tariff would I need with a UCAT 2700 to have a good chance at getting an interview?
Have a look at the statistics on their website, although they are from 2020 so likely a bit lower than this year will be!

Hi, please can someone advice if there is any scoring system used for ucas and ucat points? All I understand is 50:50 split between the two - but what is the minimum ucas tariff needed and what is the ucat point needed ? Any thoughts? Thanks
Minimum UCAT is 3rd decile and UCAS is 152 from their A*AA min requirements, but you would not interview with just that.
They publish past examples on their website.

Hi, I know something similar has been asked, but what is considered a low/high tariff for QMUL? I have 3 A*s (and 1 A in AS), so I believe that brings me to 188 points. My UCAT is 2930 B2, so would the two together be "enough"? TIA

QMUL says this:

Top and Bottom examples:
Low Tariff of 166 supported by a high UCAT of 3050
High Tariff of 260 supporting a low UCAT of 2410

Mid-range examples:

Tariff 242 UCAT 2580

Tariff 216 UCAT 2640

Tariff 180 UCAT 2720

Tariff 168 UCAT 2750

I think your Tariff would be mid-range, but your UCAT is high

Yes I saw the same thing! Do you know if there's a FOI request/something more specific showing more examples?

I did find the minimum tarrif to be 152 for 2020

Found tarrif and UCAT score but it's for realising opportunities

Then it starts getting outdated

Hey guys, I'm an international student thinking of applying to Barts this year.

UCAT: 2970, Band 2

IB: 43/45 (7 for Biology and Chemistry)

IGCSE: 4A* and 6A

Are these competitive enough?

Hello, I'm a home student and wondering if I should firm Barts?

GCSE: 9,8,7,7,6,6,6,6
UCAT: 2790 B2
UCAS Tariff: 172

Will my GCSE's disadvantage me in any way and is my UCAT + UCAS Tariff too low/risky?
I may be eligible for a contextual offer, would that increase my odds?

Thanks

Hi, I'm a home student and im just wondering if it would be worth applying to barts? Any advice would be very much appriciated

UCAT: 3020, Band 3 (Not sure how exactly barts use the SJT so the band 3 is a bit worrying)
My ucas tariff is A*A*A* predicted so 168 points I believe (I also have an A in As physics which I dropped but im not sure if that contibutes any ucas points).

Achieved Medical Sciences Degree at a 2.1
UCAT:2890 (722.5) Band 2
Any thoughts on my chances as there isn't much info regarding graduates applying to this course. Thanks

Barts almost exclusively interviews grads with a 1st unless about a 3200 UCAT

Ah I knew that they were strict for the 4 year course but wasn't sure if it was the same for the 5 year. Thanks for the response!

Interesting. Do they score degrees according to subject/university etc? I scored 3170 in UCAT with a 2.1 B.Sc degree in Natural Sciences from Durham.

Do you also know if it's possible to apply for both the 4 and 5 year course?

No, as long as subject meets their requirements, they do not care where it is from.
Yes, you can apply to both
