Can I stop doing my EPQ in Year 12

Hi, so I took an interest in doing the EPQ but now that I thought about it, I might not wanna do it because I feel it may feel like a waste of time, I want to focus on my subjects (Applied science and Health and social care) and secure those grades.I'm predicted very high grades for these courses for science I'm predicted a D and a M for my exam and coursework unit. And for my Health and social care I'm predicted a DD. I have not submitted my EPQ Cantidate proposal and I've already messaged my Centre coordinator to ask to drop it. What are your thoughts? Drop or continue. My answer is drop but I want to see what everyone has to say.
I was going to do an EPQ but decided to drop out last minute because of the disruption due to COVID and wanting to focus on my A-level results so I think it’s a good idea :biggrin:
