What is the best accommodation at exeter? (self catered)

There have been lots of new student accommodations built that look nice but people seem to favour ones like Lafrowda I assume because it is close to the centre of campus but I don't know whether I should be applying to the ones with the best location or the nicest looking rooms/facilities.

I lived in St Germans in first year (Although I don't think it'll be around next year sadly!)...

Lafrowada, Rowe House etc. are all great in my opinion, close to town, close to campus and also organised through the university. I've found that these are better managed, in terms of sorting things out etc.

Everything in Exeter is very close, campus to the furthest part of town is max 30 minute walk (which in reality is nothing!). I liked living on campus in first year, and the residence life team are great at putting you into flats to meet a range of people. Either way, you can't go wrong to be honest! You'll end up meeting people either way, both from your course and your accommodation.
