Compare the features of three prime energy sources that are in general use for the production of electricity by mechanically driving an electromagnetic generator.

you must produce a technical report which compares a total of three prime energy sources that could be used in the proposed new power station. You must select one prime energy source from each of the pairs below to give a total of three alternative sources.
Pair A - Coal or Gas
Pair B - Nuclear or Biomass
Pair C - Wind or Water, (Wave, Tidal or Hydro-electric)
Things to compare and contrast must include cost, response time, maximum demand, pollution, environmental issues including appearance, hazards, life span of the project and post-service decommissioning.

Please help.

Well you're supposed to do your own research which should be pretty straightforward online...

here's a couple of thoughts to get you started

1. Biomass and Coal aren't very different technologies... the existing Drax powerstation in the UK has been converted to biomass from coal using most of the existing plant.

2. The dominant type of nuclear powerstation is currently PWR... which generates steam at a lower temperature to traditional thermal powerstations like coal. This means the maximum thermal efficiency of PWR nuclear stations is always lower than a coal or other thermal powerstation with hotter steam.
