Awarded only basic amount

Hi, I've recieved my entitlement for the mainteneance loan today at £4,422 but I did apply for the higher amount as I am disabled and haven't worked since 2017. Will I have to appeal or will the amount be changed in the next 6 week assesment period?

We only award the basic amount at first, if you have applied for the higher amount - please allow up to 6 weeks to be fully assessed.
