How was the Biology exam guys ??
The Unit-3 paper was a bit tough. Which questions did everyone find hard? Can the marks required to get an A go down, or is it fixed at 80 ????

unit 1 and 2H were relatively simple, unit 3 was a killer.
i think the raw marks for unit 3 will be around 23- 25 for an A grade.
for unit 1 and 2 it will be around 43/60 for an A grade.

what did everyone get for the beetroot question?
i put there is greater degree of cell membrane disruption with increasing red coloration intensity.
this is because the red pigment from the beetroot is released into the surrrounding solution.

Sugar(!), i put that the reason the surrounding soluton was red is that water dffused out of the cell since the surrouning solution had a high concentration of salts- like osmosis. Since the red pigment dissolves in water, it will follow the path of the water. Ah well already have an a, hell knows why i retook it
