Dipeptides are not polyamides (dipeptides are just two proteins together and they form peptide bonds between them or can call it an amide linkage) but they can form polyamides

you mean dipeptides are two amino acids together with the peptide linkage?

Does that mean proteins are polyamides ?

Dipeptides are made from two amino acid. An amino acid has one amine group and one carboxylic acid group.

Proteins are indeed polyamides - they are a specific type of polyamide where the monomer is an amino acid. Proteins are polyamides but not all polyamides are proteins as the monomer could still have one amine group and one carboxylic acid group but not have the structure of an amino acid.
