Choral scholars

What sort of level do Choral scholars at Oxford tend to be? I know it will vary from college to college but if anyone has any info it would be super useful!!

This might give you an idea of what the different scholars are like. - pretty high standard and you might be singing every day. There is a chart if you look on the website which indicates what level of commitment the scholar has e.g. everyday or once a week.

They do vary, the one person I know who's a choral scholar I think has done grade 7 or 8 singing and been in a lot of choirs - but they're also in a very active choir, so. I believe they give out more choral scholarships than actual academic offers...? But this is just from what I've heard and not really based on any evidence so take it with a pinch of salt!
