"legally it is not seen okay to have a sexual relationship" is an odd way of phrasing "it's child rape if you have sex with him".

i guess but yeah anything sexual is illegal which should be fine since u said it's not happening. pls be v careful also i'd avoid letting him send nudes or taking 'indecent' pics bc that's technically child pornography. also u can't be in a position of authority like if u work at the school they go to or smth idk

Yes and as she is 18+ it’s even worse. If they were 17 and 14 they would both be children in terms of the law with regards to pornography.

Like how is it legal for a 16 year old to sleep with a 30 year old but no for a 16 year old to sleep with someone of a similar age, even if they are younger?

Just my opinion though. I think the Romeo and Juliet Laws are reasonable, but they also have problems like it’s illegal for an 18 year old and 17 year old to have sex



i get a feeling sooner or later the law will change.

a story will hit the headlines of something like a 16 year old girl murdered by her 35 year old boyfriend.
It will spark national outrage, which will lead to protests to get the age of consent changed/romeo or juliet laws...

well technically it's legal as long as they don't engage in sexual activity or sending 'indecent' images to each other... it's just very weird
