Will most people who are going to Liverpool for Vet Sci stay at Crown place?
Greenbank is a big Nono for me as I want night life!

Hi, I think crown place is the most popular with vets but apparently lots also stay at philharmonic, I applied to crown for my first 2 options and philharmonic last I’ve got an unconditional offer but waiting for them to settle my fee status and then I’ll more than likely firm them.

Is that private accommodation? I would have thought the majority of freshers would be applying for uni owned accommodation in their first year as it may be easier to socialise and there’s a bit more peace of mind with it being uni owned accommodation if you’re moving to Liverpool and don’t know the area very well. However uni accommodation is very expensive, so private may be an option if you want to try and reduce accommodation costs?

No it’s uni accommodation and the closest one to the vet building

I'm quite sure there isn't Liverpool uni halls called that - https://www.liverpool.ac.uk/accommod...accommodation/ that's the list owned by the actual uni, but there may be privately owned 'student halls' nearby - crown place is closest to the vet building I believe. As said, most first years are going for uni owned halls, but I do know a few who aren't and a lot of the older postgrads and people who aren't coming straight from school are going private. There's no right or wrong, but personally for my first year I definitely want to know my home will be safe and 'guaranteed', especially as I've never even been to Liverpool or lived away from home so want to ease in.

Dover Court is the closest university accommodation to the vet building - but this is for post-graduates/ 2nd/3rd years only not freshers.
Crown Place is the second closest to the veterinary lecture theatres and clinical skills lab - this is for freshers

St. Andrews Gardens is the old prison looking building just behind the clinical skills lab, but this isn't university owned its private halls - I wouldn't recommend this choice myself as you will struggle to find coursemates as the vast majority will all have applied to the university owned halls.
