You're wrong.

Pepsi is more sacchariferous than Coke, so immediately it had a big advantage in a sip test. Pepsi is also embodied by a citrusy flavor burst, unlike the more raisiny-vanilla taste of Coke. But that burst tends to dissipate over the course of an entire can.

I don't like either but blind testing has frequently shown Pepsi to be preferable whereas people often choose Coke when not being tested blind.
(I can't cite any studys as I'm too lazy to find any but the fact has popped up often enough for me to be sure of it.)

I might also add that back when new-Coke was brought out it was greeted more favorably than the above two in blind testing but it tasted different enough that people could tell which sort of Coke they had and, consequently, Coke brought back the old and 'better' formula.
