Are shallow, superficial people happy?

I come from an Indian community and unfortunately and it can happen anywhere, people follow the crowd here, they only want to be seen well, fit in, snub people who they think do not fit in, who are different.

Its also apparent on social media, how people see you and they are afraid of what others think.

But I'm out of that and made friends with many others from any walk of life and I say, I cannot be happier.

I'm not saying to take a dig, I know the men are arrogant and want to be seen with popular people and so do the women, in order to look good, be the alpha.

But they are always going to be insecure and chase the 20 per cent, when they are missing out on the 80 per cent.

Like I said, they are snobby, shallow.

People in all cultures just want to fit in, it is in human nature. Some fit in well and are comfy in their status, some are hanging onto that high status in desperation and are not at all happy.
I find people who don’t fit in much more interesting
