hey guys! Yup I had to re-read it twice and get my fiancée in to confirm it. Its been such a long wait I had given up on an offer.

Now its just the dread of finding a house, financing 4 years of life, etc :P

Is anyone coming out of work to study? or are most coming straight from another course? I think I might be the grumpy grandad of the course at 36

Mine came an hour after I got the “Warwick offer” email. The next day, I got a separate email from yourwarwick telling me to check my UCAS track.

Hey all thats a big long email off warwick lol with all those forms (none are a surprise though really- i knew occy health etc would be needed!).

I think its very likely ill be firming warwick- unless liverpool offer me a place. unfortunately Liverpool seem to like to wait until the last few days of march in previous years!

Most medics tend to live in Kenilworth or Canley - most good accommodation in Leamington Spa will be taken by current Warwick students unfortunately

I’ll be 29 when we start so not too far behind you!

I’m also leaving work; by September I’ll have been a registered mental health nurse for 2.5 years, and a HCA for 5 years before that. Not sure where I’ll live cause I’m definitely not going for halls!

Still doesn’t feel real, and won’t for me till our first day.

You don't need to worry about halls as they're only for first year undergrads (in 99% of cases) with the exception of a post-grad accommodation on campus called Benefactors (https://warwick.ac.uk/services/accom...on/benefactors), but they don't have many spaces (it's all studio flats) and is super expensive (£207/wk for 50 week contract).

Most med students find houses together in the local area but I know there's a fair amount of single-bed flats etc
