If you get the kind that have a Y-cable that plugs into the back of your stereo then yes, it will work. You unplug the aerial cable, which you plug into the box, and then a different cable from the box plugs into the aerial socket on the back of your radio.

This style of FM modulator is the only kind I'd entertain. The style which rely purely on your aerial picking up the signal are crap.

For a couple of quid more you can buy a second hand bluetooth stereo and just have decent sound quality..

Maybe? I use a bt transmitter and took the areal off my last car in order to fit surfboards on top; still worked fine.

One of those things you'll just have to do in order to find out
