What experiences are valuable for law school application?

As I said on my last post, I'm considering applying for law after I graduate. Issue being, I don't have a lot of relevant experience and I'm aware it can be difficult to acquire.

Aside from shadowing solicitors/barristers or spending time in court, what other experiences can I seek out that would give me a better understanding of the career, as well as having something to talk about on my UCAS application?

Thanks in advance!
Watch the news. Read newspapers. Read legal blogs discussing current affairs.
Just replying to say thank you - won't let me rep since I've already done so in the last thread. I hope you don't think I'm unintelligent, I think I mentioned before, I just need directed a little since my university's career service isn't the best and I'm not sure where to begin on my own.

Thanks again!
