People have a need for well being (the absence of suffering). If I died, my need for well being would disappear (which could be argued is a good thing), but other people's wouldn't. Although continuing to exist from a selfish perspective might not make sense, it makes sense when considering the needs of others (including family and loved ones).

AFAIK living is all there is in one form or another. So we have no choice but to live.

If you can prove that we don't keep living after our current bodies expire then by all means go ahead
