Does anyone have notes for section A in IGCSE English language.

And could anyone tell me now you would answer this question
(Explain how the writer presents his or her ideas about the blabla you should support your answer with close reference to the passage, including brief quotations.

Hi! Got a 9 in English Language for the Cambridge iGCSE spec. For the question you gave, think very basic PEA paragraphs: make your point, quote a word or phrase from the test, define the word/phrase (examiners like dictionary definitions in language, and explaining a metaphor or simile proves you know what the writer is doing), then briefly "analyse" (a sentence or two on how this is an effective presentation of ideas - the bulk of your paragraph should be evidence and definitions, otherwise you veer into literature territory). A lot of the time these passages have very obvious recurring themes such as colour symbolism or links with nature, so try to refer back to that in your paragraphs, too. Hope this helps :smile:
