Hi, at Durham the colleges are not part of your academical life so the most important things about colleges are: Catered/self-catered; Baily/hill, gown formals or not; private room or shared room.

Congratulations on your offer! We cant wait to see you here in Durham

At Durham, your college isn't linked to your academic programme so in that sense it doesn't matter which college you choose. College is what shapes the rest of your student experience outside of the classroom - where you'll live, socialise and where you'll join clubs and societies to suit your interests. The key things to consider in choosing which college is your preference are location, do you want catered or self catering, do you want formal gowned dinners or something a bit more informal. You can find out all the essential info about all of the colleges on our website here: https://www.dur.ac.uk/experience/colleges/ourcolleges/
