What are the main points needed to get the top marks in descriptive writing in English lang paper 1 q5 GCSE? Any other tips for the English lang paper1 to get me higher grades? It would be very much appreciated!

Make sure that you dont disregard the grammar and punctuation marks as they are with 16 marks. Make sure that you range your punctuation.

for the English language paper 1 section a (the more comprehension one ) My teacher always tells us to not dwell or be too wordy in our analysis basically the opposite to a literature essay - try to look for authorial intention even if it seems far-fetched, as long as you can almost evidence it , it can't be wrong. Use a range of ideas. sorry not sure about the descriptive writing as I do the narrative. Look at mark schemes from your exam board
