Edinburgh Accommodation

Hey! I’m an international student with an offer for medicine in Edinburgh next year. I was wondering if anyone could give me advice about accommodation as I have never been to Edinburgh. I’m looking at the uni halls but I’m not 100% sure where to start- Ideally I’d like somewhere self-catered and sociable, and not too far from campus. Any help at all would be much appreciated :smile:

salisbury court is by far the nicest accommodation but incredibly hard to get. Murano, shrubhill are nice but super far out 38 minute walk to George square.
