i mean like in gcses btec that are Level 2 and a normal gcse like geography , which is better and which is more valuable ?

whats you opinion on which is better but which would be soo good to do?

i am asian and do not know if i should do btecs as my parents would think i am dumb as they are strict sooo.......

They serve completely different purposes so they aren't really comparable.

As above, there is no real basis for comparison, as GCSE has more focus on academic study, and theoretical concepts, comparatively, BTEC is to a degree less theoretical and more focused on understanding the concepts through practical application.

As for which you should do, discuss this with not only the school itself, but local colleges and see if they have any restrictions on the courses/subjects for further study, but generally going from GCSE > A-level you shouldn't really find it much of an issue. That is, assuming you do go for further studying/qualifications.
