I’m thinking to change my football team that I support(arsenal) just becasue when I chose to support them, I was naive and was told to go for arsenal and me without a thought, went for it. Do you guys have any recommendations on how to choose one? I know it’s opinionated but what would I have to look at? I don’t want to be called a plastic fan or a fake fan. But I was just ignorant of football teams in general and now I’ve had enough with the bullying.

Well if that's the case, support your local team even if it's lingering in National League South or something.

being a fan is ultimately pretty irrelevant unless you can tie yourself to the victory of a team emotionally. what's the point in cheering unless you genuinely want to fist pump the air when they win?

you can support a team with players you find interesting, a locality you're related to or anything that help you establish that tie

Support your local team. No more glory seeking. Arsenal haven't won a trophy for 42 weeks, I know that may be difficult for you.
