Hi guys,
I messed up my a levels due to covid plus some personal issues and i'd like to make up by doing an access course next year(if i can get a spot at 18). I'd like to ask anyone that got into electrical engineering at uni through an access course: which ac course is necessary to electrical engineering? Do i have to do a specific electrical engineering ac course or is the standard engineering ac course sufficient? Thanks.

I think the main requirement would be the course covers a good amount of maths and physics. A lot of Access to HE courses don't cover sufficient maths content for direct entry to STEM degrees without taking A-level Maths in addition, so I would recommend you contact any universities you may wish to apply to with details of the specific Access course(s) you are considering to make sure they are acceptable or not!
