moving Into Halls after Living at Home First Year

So i am very stuck as i have had limited social life with covid and friends moving away so i no longer have a main consistent friend group. Should i move into halls for my second year or is this more a freshers thing?

we had a second year in halls and didn't question that. if you want to do it you'll be fine. equally though you may still want to look out for housemates as its not essential you're tight with everyone to get along

also idk what shak is talking about because i don't think you can rely on remote/online-taught university next year, nor would you want to if the lecture hall experience is possible again

Thanks for everyone’s reply’s ,
I think my main choice would be halls or home still , I just know work load will pick up in second year and I’m not sure if I will acc fault want a heavy social life , I feel as if I have missed the whole freshers experience window

It seems an expensive option to me, unless your travel costs are huge.
