Birley townhouses vs en shite flats

Title says it all. What are the differences and which do people recommend?

I’m pretty social and party orientated and as much as I love a big party will townhouses really be like raves until 9am nearly everyday?

And are en suites less sociable and ‘boring’ so to speak?
