If I want to permanently withdraw from one of my choices, will I be able to use UCAS Extra?

I’ve been unsuccessful in 4 already, and haven’t received a decision from the 5th choice yet.

You can only use Extra if you have NO offers - ie. all your 5 choices have rejected you, or you have withdrawn from them.
You cannot hold on to some choices and 'pick new ones'.
More info here - read it all : https://www.ucas.com/undergraduate/a.../extra-choices

Thanks. I’m still a bit confused.
I have 4 rejections already, so if I withdraw my application from the 5th one (I don’t have decisions yet), does it mean I won’t be able to use Extra?

If you withdraw from your remaining choice, you will have no offers on any of your 5 choices.
You can then use Extra.

Just be aware that Extra is 'one choice at a time' and only for courses that are still accepting applications - not 5 new course choices from all possible courses.

Yes you will be able to use Extra if you withdraw from your 5th.

But you need to think about why you got rejections (like maybe applying for courses where your predicted grades didn't meet all their entry requirements) and make sure you don't make the same mistake.
