Northumbria Acommodation

Hello!

I would really appreciate it if anyone could help me out with accommodation at Northumbria.
I really like Portland Green, Nido The Bridge, Winn and New Bridge Street. I want something thats ideally sociable and pretty central to the centre where I can make new friends as a first year.

Quay Point and Nido look like they are going to be very sociable this year. I’m in the Facebook freshers group and I have seen a lot of people booking Nido The Bridge, it looks great! As for staying close to the centre, Portland and Winn are a 10 min walk, and New Bridge Street is just across the road from uni! Most of the accommodation buildings seem close together so you won’t be miles away from everyone. I’m also starting this year!

Best place for socialising is Trinity, stay clear of Claude gibb and Lovainne both are full of bullys and are poorly maintained.
winn is very good for basically every aspect of uni life

Hi Bebar1110

Whilst studying at Northumbria my place of residence was Trinity Square and I'd say it far exceeded my expectations, with communal areas to enjoy some downtime, lots of shops nearby, and just a very short metro ride to the city centre. That being said, you seem to have selected locations that are a bit closer to campus. Our accommodation quiz is great as it will help you find the right place for you - why not give it a try https://www.qzzr.com/c/quiz/467879/what-student-accommodation-are-you

You'll probably find that a lot of the residences are going to be ideal for socialising and it will boil down to personal preference: how many people do you want to share a place with, do you mind if its a shared bathroom, what size bed would you prefer, catered or self catered, etc

Have a good look at the residences we offer and see if you find something that ticks all the boxes.

Best of luck in your search, let us know how you get on!

Thanks
