I'm trying to figure out what kind of accommodation budget I should be planning for while doing animation at UAL, but that requires me to know how much part time work I can take, which means knowing how many days I'm at classes for. Does anyone know what the usual is on their courses?

There's a couple of ways to find an answer to this - you could ask the college directly and see if they are able to give you any details yet. You might also try UAL Ask A Student Ambassador and one of our amazing student ambassadors might be more familiar with that specific course.
I would also suggest you look at registering with ArtsTemps when you arrive at UAL. This is our own internal employment system for our students who are looking to earn some extra money while studying, and working around their timetable. Once you are a student you can register with them and you will be able to access job postings for things like being a student ambassador, or various projects and events throughout the year.
Best wishes,
Sian

I forgot to add, you can have a look at our Fees and Funding pages to find out more about budget planning. Also, our Student Services provide support with budget planning and advice so definitely reach out to them too if you need some advice.
Best wishes,
