Hi there

I'm currently doing A level Chemistry, AQA, and I want to know the best books that I can use to learn from. I have CGP book, however, It does have flaws that doesn't make me want to use it anymore. I'm really struggling to find a good book that can teach me about the entirety of A level Chemistry without it being a textbook. Additionally I would really appreciate recommended University books for Chemistry, since I'm going to be studying it.

Hi there!

I used the following books...

This one was just a general textbook, was okay;
https://www.amazon.co.uk/AQA-Chemist...7123328&sr=8-7

This one for the maths side...can’t fault it at all! Was so helpful and made everything so clear..you really need to ensure you’re good at all the maths stuff in the spec (book written by same guy who wrote the chemguide website)-
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Calculation...7123507&sr=8-1

Then finally I used this one for the practical bits...really useful and good for all the exam questions...
https://www.amazon.co.uk/AQA-level-C...7123565&sr=8-1

Good luck! 🍀
(Actually, I’m happy to send the practical and the general textbook of mine to you, PM me if you’d like, you can have them for free 👍)

E rintoul (AQA) - look no further. Wouldn't advise any other YouTuber apart from him. Covers all topics and questions. So don't waste your time at any other person, tm
