hey! im currently a year 12 student with no clue what id like to do at university. i take spanish, psychology, and sociology. my main interests lay with spanish and sociology! i also quite like politics and have seen you can do a global communications and spanish course. i don’t know what career i’d like to go into so a degree that would open up the most job opportunities would be good which i think may be spanish? but if anyone thinks differently or has further knowledge on this i’d love to hear. if anyone has done a degree in any of these subjects, any advice, or just ways to help make my decision id be grateful!

Liberal Arts inc. Spanish : https://www.exeter.ac.uk/undergradua...barts/liberal/
Politics and Spanish : https://www.cardiff.ac.uk/study/unde...and-spanish-ba

Or there are many other subjects 'and Spanish' or 'with Spanish' - just google.

Wise to take a 'Spanish and XX' joint honours course. The applications for languages at uni have been declining so if you have A level language the unis will be queuing up for you. You could do Spanish and Business which is a sensible option.

Or you could do Psychology & Spanish - Strathclyde, Lancaster and many other unis offer that combination. The reason why I mention psychology is that mental health issues due to lockdown are a big topic so you will have a job for life helping people cope with covid stress disorder for many years to come.

thanks so much for the advice. i’m definitely considering a joint honours course so it’s nice to hear someone else’s opinion on it. never really thought of combining psychology and spanish to be honest but i’m going to look into it! really useful reply, thank you again
